Printing Mixed Media Masterclass Weekend Workshop

When - 18 - 19 May 2024

Where - Sutton Village Gallery

Join artist Jo Hollier for a weekend of masterclass mixed media printing.

In this ‘next level’ Masterclass weekend workshop with Jo Hollier, you will build upon your printmaking skills by expanding expressive possibilities with the collagraph plate and multiple plate drypoint etching. Ink manipulation, viscosity printing and colour roll up will all be covered as well as investigations using stencils, masks and chine collé method for colour layering effects.

You will broaden your understanding of previous skills learned as you delve deeper, exploring new elements to elevate your skills in multi-plate dry point etchings with coloured plates. Tetrapak printing (as a relief and intaglio (etching)) will be introduced, offering further considerations for exploratory mark making. **This workshop is for those who have completed the Introductory Mixed Media Workshop with Jo Hollier or for those who have intermediate-advanced printmaking skills in the areas of Collagraph & Drypoint Etching that they want to continue exploring. 16+yrs.
